I have been working at Amdocs full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    - Good start-up package for freshers
    - Provides many facilities
    - Good work environment

    Cons

    - Salary hikes are worst.
    - Company can put you any any part of SDLC (testing/support/dev) and that too randomly. They will not consider your interests if you are joining as a fresher. This is worst.
    - Management is not that good. (seems like this is the problem with every company)
    - Company wants you to work 12-15 hours a day without any good compensation.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    - Please keep employees happy if you want them to work whole-heartedly.
    - If work type along with promotions and hikes are reaching expectations, there will be no reason to leave the organization.

I have been working at Amdocs full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Even I joined this company, I was never planning to stay longer. but I stayed. Why? Because this company used to have great culture, good values and gave me an opportunity to learn. I travelled across various places and people were kind enough to teach me.

    Cons

-the credit goes to the person who makes a lot of noise.
-Managers don't care about employees health. I've to come to office after knee injury and mgmt didn't care that I need one month rest. I can forgive them but my knee has not yet recovered after six months as I was working after 1 year. They can say to you 'We don't care about injury. This is your problem. We want this issue fixed.'
-Innovation is discouraged by team mates. the atmosphere is poisonous.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Become human! if you really wanna grow as company, award people who innovate and thrive to solve the problems, not award the people who make them bigger and earn brownie points.

    Anyways, you are sinking ship!

I have been working at Amdocs full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    work-life balance is great.
    can work from home.
    compensation is good.

    Cons

there are cuts every year so every year i'm afraid of losing my job.
management are all yes men - they don't challenge leadership at all and in turn policy changes are put in place that hinder rather than help.
    no room for growth

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Upper management needs to be more in-tune with what's really going on. Policies and changes they put in place they try to make one size fits all and it doesn't.

I have been working at Amdocs full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Pay and benefits are good, although pay rises are small. I was in a company acquired by Amdocs and existing perks were honoured.
Office environment good, with weekly fruit and delivery of snacks and small food items for staff.
Amdocs seem keen to adopt new technologies, so potential chances to expand skills and learn new things.
Amdocs offers training and online resources for learning

    Cons

Amdocs is a massive 22000 person bureaucratic monster. Initial promises of training and career progression ended in nothing. Expect endless email invitations to pointless town hall meetings. For an IT company with a large IT dept and a dedicated dept handling mergers and acquisitions, the integration of our company into theirs was a mess, and this was not a unique experience as I heard of other companies that had also suffered poor experiences. In one case, they bought a company without realising the company had their own software platform. Their IT systems are a mess. Our IT manager was moved into pre-sales and an expensive contractor hired to do the exact same job. They are overly paranoid about security but then make mistakes like linking staff to the wrong personnel systems in their records, exposing personal information. Management and control of resources, servers, etc is very Israel-centric.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Follow through on promises of career development and training. Put more trust in external managers. Sort out the IT department. Stop spamming staff with pointless emails.
