    I have been working at D&B full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

    Company pays excellent package and that's it

    Cons

    Don't know where to start but here you go

    1. Complete organisational chaos in Dublin office. They pretend to show that they are in full control but reality is completely opposite
    2. Many people doing the same job causing confusion and frustration
    3. Your roles and responsibilities are not clearly defined so during your performance review your manager can write whatever
    4. Sometimes you are hired for a role but then you are not allowed to do that role, you end up doing something rubbish. This is because of the politics within the group (mainly management). Just waste of your time and to some extend ruining your career
    5. You will not be included in the key meetings or discussions where you must be participating, keeping you completely blind of the facts. There are deliberately many side discussions to avoid certain people to participate

    On papers you may be completing the hills but reality is far from it. Culture needs to change drastically.

    Pros

    Company added new leadership a year ago, that seemed positive

    Cons

    Despite new visions and new leadership. The company continues to make short sighted decisions (e.g. layoffs, cutting project work) before any actual progress can be made.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Company needs to seriously commit to a strategy (not just in words, but actions). Stop making short sighted decisions at the end of each quarter.

    Pros

    I had a decent commute. Cafeteria was well-priced. Good location, near Mall at Short Hills. Bathrooms were always clean.

    Cons

    Job wasn't as described at interview. I quickly discovered that managers will steal employees' ideas and present it to senior leaders as their own - happened to me a few times. HR thinks they're truly global strategists because salaries are on par with larger companies. Long-tenured mgrs isn't a positive thing here, b/c they have no new ideas and its like inbreeding. Glad I'm outta there!

    Clean house of long-tenured employees, especially in HR. Develop long-term growth plans for each department before spontaneously going on hiring sprees, only to fire months later.

    The name of the company

    Cons

    Data is way outdated. They are not a technology company. D&B sold all their data to data.com and their Hoovers platform is useless. Their credit reports were good ten years ago.

    Pros

    The pros are the usual perks that can come with working for a large corporation: slightly better than average pay, good benefits, good potential rewards for sales producers...etc.

    Cons

    Office culture resembles shark-infested waters, with the leadership pitting sales reps against each other, while dangling the potential golden carrot (sales achievement rewards) that for the overwhelming majority of reps never really materializes. The company goes through continuous rounds of layoffs, in which hundreds are let go to bring in "fresh meat".

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Develop structure of sales that nurtures spirit of collaboration to increase sales, while simultaneously increasing departmental morale. Focus on product diversification and relevancy in today's market, to once again widen the competitive gap.

    Pros

    Partially subsidized cafeteria lunches and constant threat of layoffs mean you can manage some jaded, old, worthless scrubs.

    Cons

    Legions of backstabbing worms. Cronyism, favoritism and sycophants galore. Look out anyone who worked on DNBi North America the past 10 years... It's a sinking ship and the rats jumped off to nest in other corners of the company.

    Weed out the 75 percent of the company that has no value beyond collecting dust

    People / life value absolutely not important.
    Values ​​are present only on the paper.

    Local management seeks more its visibility than business strategies.
    The company is managed locally as a farm.
    Management invests more to convince employees that they have the chance to work for D & B than to convince customers to choose D&B solutions.
    The company is not gratefuld.
    In case of dismissal management prefers to invest in court proceedings as to compensate its employees.

    Weak management with no real vision and strategy replaced by yearly layoff programs masked as efficiency program. Constant change in top management
