    Ups and downs

    Director of Sales (Former Employee) Wilsonville, OR (US)

    ProsNice people and great customers make the work worthy. It was great making products that save lives. I'll miss the close connection with the customers.

    ConsMany talented people are left to stagnate in their jobs because some in management do not plan for away ahead for them. If you do a good job, some managers do not want to move you up because then they will have to replace you.

    Overall good company

    Electrical Engineer (Former Employee)

    ProsFamily- oriented environment, good working culture. As an Any company, it is a bright, smart engineers and a lot of lazy, ballast people.

    ConsPoor management, favoritism, a.s kissing, salaries were frozen for the most of people , but not all, raises miserable,

    Advice to Senior ManagementStart to manage

    Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

    Mid-size government contractor with trouble growing.

    Production Manager (Former Employee) Boston, MA (US)

    ProsTechnology development and operations staff are all very dedicated to their jobs and do as much as they can to advance the brand of the company. Products cover a vast range of implementations which allows for a good range of tech and disciplines.

    ConsAs part of a division that was bolted on after an acquisition, I found myself lost in the increasingly complex organizational structure. There was very little direct input to the top of the organization which was on the other side of the country. Vision for growth seemed very short-sighted and only focused on iterative product improvements and not adventuring into anything they weren't already field leaders in.

    Advice to Senior ManagementBe more proactive in creating an open strategic focus and avoid adopting a large conglomerate structure linked through a long line of acquisitions.

    No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

    Logic Intern

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

    ProsGreat people and culture and exciting field to work in.

    Consintern work could get dull and easy to get pigeon holed into a specific niche

    Advice to Senior ManagementHave the groups communicate more with each other. It always seemed like there were messes that needed to be cleaned up between each group after the mistake was made.

    Wonderful people to work with.

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

    ProsSalary was okay. Co-workers are pleasant and good team players.

    ConsNo flexibility of hours. Layoffs with no notice. Work is added to other coworkers with no increase in salary. Yet they keep buying other companies. Question the integrity of the company.

    Advice to Senior ManagementExpect to be available 24/7. Company is like a flip-coin.

    A mixed bag

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee) North Billerica, MA (US)

    Pros* Interesting technology with cool applications
    * Many nice people
    * Good life/work balance (at least in my group)
    * Could work at home when needed (at least in my group)
    * Flexible start/end times (at least in my group)
    * Creativity is welcome
    * Room for professional growth

    Cons* Management could be difficult and was not always reasonable
    * Poor communication between managers and employees
    * Many two-faced people
    * Lack of information sharing - this made it difficult to complete projects
    * Lack of clear planning
    * Compensation could be better

    Advice to Senior ManagementDevelop a plan and stick with it, unless it makes actual sense to change it.
    Be open with employees. This will help morale.
    Pay people what they're worth.
