Fairly decent place to work but with its fair share of issues.

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)
Dallas, TX (US)

I worked at FedEx Office full-time for more than 7 years

ProsDecent health benefits, above average vacation/sick policy and good pay. Training and advancement opportunities are sometimes available.

ConsHealth benefits have consistently gone down in quality and increased in costs. Still above average compared to most others but will become bellow average or worse if trend continues.

Training for potential advancement is usually available but most employees in support roles will have to fight to have access to it and to be given time to take it.

Certain departments / employees are woefully ineffective in their duties but since they have consistently set the bar so low with their past work they are rarely ever held accountable for the poor performance even if numerous complaints are made about it. In some situations due to complaints, a low performing employee will be laterally moved or promoted out of the their roll which is demoralizing to everyone else.

Excellent Sales Training

Sales Customer Service Specialist (Current Employee)

I have been working at FedEx Office full-time for more than a year

ProsFortune 500 Company, excellent sales training at every level

ConsLower end base salaries, limited upward mobility

Advice to Senior ManagementI think upper management is putting excellent sales programs in place and is creating better internal structures to execute the vision of Sales Executives. Continue to develop the Sales Organization in the current direction, but better incentivize your field sales teams.

An Education for computer geeks

Computer Services (Former Employee)
Westwood, CA (US)

I worked at FedEx Office full-time for more than 3 years

ProsThe pros consist of all the computer experience and customer service gained while being employed here.

ConsThe cons consist of all the customer service experience gained while being employed here.
You can get yelled at when coming in for a morning shift for something that was screwed up in the AM shift. You have to know a lot of different software in order to help the customers in self service.
