    Pros

You will work with some very nice people. The atmosphere isn't too terrible.

    Cons

The people at the top can be tough and ready to fire you if you rub them the wrong way. That's not a wonderful thing to have hanging over your head.

I have been working at Liz Claiborne

    Pros

Lots of perks. Sample sales, summer hours, 21 vacation days

    Cons

Upper management is horrible at communicating when big changes take place. Employees find out most of the changes through press releases on the internet. They keep selling all the brands. I would be surprised if they are still in business in a year.

    I worked at Liz Claiborne

    Pros

They had a great benefit package, although it would have been nice to have
    a pension out of it.

    Cons

Has sold off so much of their brands acquired in the past that they have lost a great number of their customers, yet expect Mangers to convert by selling low quality "fashion".

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Too late to offer advice for Liz. Looks like they will never get back that classic line, have lost their
base of shoppers and instead cater to the teeny boppers by invbesting in all the kiddie lines....DKNY, Lucky, Juicy, Kensie....

Glad to be out of there

    Cons

    very low wages, long hours

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I believe this position needs to be compensated better for the amount of stress and long hours involved. Higher wages for designers.
