Former Employee – worked at MetroPCS full-time for less than a year
Pros – not a lot of workload
Cons – changing schedule within 1-2 hours before hand
telling you to leave and then come back when they do no pay for your gas
working every sunday because you are the back up
all they care about is the store, not if you are ok
no commission nor bonuses (wishingstar wireless)
no health insurance
minimum pay when you are doing manager's job
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

Current Employee – been working at MetroPCS part-time for more than a year
Pros – starting pay was 8/hour which was okay for a summer job at the time.
flexible schedule ...if you let them know a month in advance
Cons – wasn't paid fairly though. my boss wouldn't look at clocked hours just what was on schedule. i would sometimes stay an hour after closing to help customers.
i was usually the only one at the store with no breaks.
my boss would pay the full-time employees "salary pay" and he wouldn't pay them overtime when they were working 60 hours a week. could have been my boss but it was so ridiculous.
Advice to Senior Management – since all stores are privately owned, you should really pay attention to the owners of the stores to make sure they follow protocol. owners like the one i worked for were sneaky and left a bad taste in the mouth of many.

Former Employee – worked at MetroPCS full-time for more than 7 years
Pros – Great salary, strong technology challenges
Cons – Ruthless and unforgiving scheduling and paperwork for the people easiest to intimidate, the field technician and others on the bottom of the ladder.
Advice to Senior Management – Give the hardest workers a chance to survive. Stop forcing the lie. Micromanagement does not engender trust.

Former Employee – worked at MetroPCS full-time
Pros – Great health benefits, competitive pay, that is all I can think of.
Cons – Long hours. No appreciation. Stressfull environment. Unrealistic deadlines, Expected to work 24/7. No merit based promotions. CIO proud to make the 80 employees as much as 300 employees from competitors.
Advice to Senior Management – Talk to HR and find out why more than 50% of the IT group has left. Act upon the advice employees have given during the exit interview.
