Extremely hierarchical with outdated management style

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee) London, England (UK)

ProsRelatively good benefits including pension and Share options.

ConsHighly sexist and very hierarchical organization that does not support employee development or growth. Promotions will likely need to be sought outside the company. Culture of blame, and lack of accountability on the part of Directors.

Advice to Senior ManagementMore focus needs to be put on having senior executives engage with staff, to increase employee morale, and offer more opportunity for 360 degree feedback to hold managers accountable.

Would not want to work again !

Semi Senior Management (Former Employee) Dubai (United Arab Emirates)

ProsDescent paymaster. Hard think of anything else.

ConsManagement is not driven by level of expertise and effort brought in, rather by where you come from! No acknowledgement of hard work. Bureaucracy and politics at its peak where threads reaching HQs.

Advice to Senior ManagementCompletely change the very top management and bring in competent team leader, who really understands the business and turn this place to business than House of Lords.

    Loss Leader

Regional Director (Current Employee) Central District (Hong Kong)

ProsThey buy you a dinner at Christmas if you make the top 50 list ..otherwise it's rice and water....

ConsManagement is by Aliens who do things quite strangely, and people vanish all the time for no apparent reason. Other people quit for no apparent reason other than they are fed up with their friends / work counterparts being treated like wankers.

Advice to Senior ManagementShould bring back the man from PRU concept and show some flair rather than Machiavellian BS and keeping people looking over their shoulder daily. Stop being introverted BS'ers and learn how to work in the current world. Use less consultants and trust internal people who are hired to do the job.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
