I have been working at Qualcomm as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

Great growth opportunity and work environment. The company sponsors many internal learning and training sessions to learn both internal infrastructures and useful skills that can be used outside the company.

    Cons

Feels like a big company. Hard to move up or around and big company bureaucracy is widely prevalent. Time commitment is extremely large as well. Most employees work long hours after going home.

I interned here during the summer 2014. It is a great company definitely. They take good care of inters. The housing is super awesome and the work is super cool.

    Cons

The actual assignments to particular teams happen very late, almost like 2 weeks before the start of internship, which was not desired.

I worked at Qualcomm as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

Interns are really taken care of, pampered almost. Loads of networking and learning opportunities. Interns are also encouraged to take part in activities outside work, like the IdeaQuest competition and community service.

    Cons

Some interns face issues with being put in a team of their choice. Experience can depend on the mentor and manager you get.
