    Worst company I have ever worked for - Do not waste your time working here

    Pros

    - Good pay and bonus (especially if you can sustain lots of overtime)

    Cons

    - Unrealistic work expectations
    - Mostly no, little or merely self-study if training courses are not scheduled soon making it difficult to perform well during the project
    - Projects are under-resourced
    - No growth strategy
    - Products are a hard-sell unless Tibco is the only vendor on the table
    - HR unsupportive to employees
    - Very political environment where, unless careful, you may be blamed for others' mistakes
    - No work-life balance - was expected to do significant overtime including bank holidays (Christmas and New Year) working over 12 - 13 hours a day including weekends for nearly 2 months. Management could not care less about your overtime as long as the delivery is made.

    - Provide appropriate training prior to projects if the individual does not have the necessary knowledge and experience together with some mentoring during the project by someone experienced
    - Resource projects with the necessary employees

    Pros

    Agile, entrepreneurial, flexible. Good software products. If you like working as a stand alone individual then a good environment.

    Cons

    Full of politics across European office, very hierarchical, driven by US decision making. Unfriendly. Unsupportive office environment. Everyone disliked working there. Very little focus on training and development of people. Probably different if you work in the offices in the US though...

    Focus on clarifying EMEA management decision making hierarchy and plan to train and develop people.

    Pros

    Some good engineers are left

    Cons

    Lot of Political fights across groups and within groups.
    Layoffs are every quarter with no severance package.
    No work life balance.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Shed some Management heavy weights and focus on building an agile leadership team. Focus on building a strong engineering team and not political management team.

    Free drinks, nice gym, not much else.

    Complete lack of upward mobility, no visibility, poor incentive structure, absolutely no raises.

    Product Set is great if you are looking for a technical job this could be for you or if you are related to the senior management

    Cons

    Seniors Sales Management has no clue
    Employees are treated with disrespect , I have been working for 20+ years no company remotely comes close to how mismanaged this organization is
    Mid management is breaking every role possible , law suites are piling up
    Bullying is rampant and part of the culture
    Sales compensation is never paid. for example if you close a deal and you get X amount of commission they will offer you 50% of what you have earned and a couple of new accounts no recourse .

    Please stop toying with peoples careers , get you act together, move focus from buying basketball teams to your own organization and its share holders . If you cant change that please sell the company !!

    LogLogic Division - WATCH OUT

    Pros

    Free snacks and other than that I can't think of anything else that is good.

    Cons

    LogLogic division has too many politics, favors, and traps that you have to be part of them or you will be gone sooner or later. Are you in good shape if your manager doesn't answer your email and doesn't discuss things go wrong when you seek him for advice? Not sure why he is hired to be a manager. I don't want to blame Tibco but they can't just ignore it. Send your management people to classes that teach them how to manage people the right way. HR would say they will listen and NOTHING is being done. If you want to work for a Chinese communist style management, then join this division. I have enough of it and I feel sick to my stomach and want to throw up when I even think about what I've been through.

    Good boot camp training, recognized name in infrastructure industry, good customers

    BAD Sales Management!!! CEO obviously doesn't like sales and they will try and not pay commissions as often as possible!!

    smart engineers and great porducts

    Cons

    Management is terrible. They are sitting out their time witing tio collect their money. When the company does well, they get paid large bonuses. When the company does not do well, they still get paid large bonuses while the rest of the staff gets 0

    leave and hire some smart, innovative replacements for your self. Start treating employees with respect so that they WANT to stay, and not want to collect a pay check.

    Good for technical people to learn and find a better company

    Cons

    This is a grossly mismanaged organization that will destroy your career , You wont make any money even if you sell as they will not pay you commissions, The will offer you a high OTE and a great compensation plan but will not recognize your sales or call your account a house account that disqualify you for payment no policy arbitrary decisions . This is not a place for coin operated sales people only people who are happy on the base salary and being your managers slaves and the Sales leadership has absolutely no sales management experience and with that leadership they want to compete with SAP, IBM and Oracle

    Please get your act together, Get a decent HR ..treat your employees with respect and dignity
