    The Most Disappointing Experience in My Career

    ProsChallenging fast paced work. Travel. Great colleagues once away from management so they could do their job without being micromanage or abused.

    ConsManagement treated the team worse than dogs. I have never been yelled at so much or with so much anger in my life, including 4 years active duty service. The manager treated the whole team with such anger the mood in the office was of fear only. The abuse was reported to HR and nothing changed. I would have thought the daily swearing at the team would have brought a quick disciplinary action but the abuse was ignored. I was told by the Anger Management problem manager's boss to keep my mouth shut and "just take the money". Disgusting...

    Advice to Senior ManagementAnger management for problem managers as metrics do not justify the abuse.

    ProsGood engineering skilled / communication employee except for managements,
    though only a few managements are good.
    I don't remember others..

    ConsNo valuable managements.They move only for own profit and never support the staff.
    They goes on frequency travel to get a mijlage
    at business class ,though they re not VPs.
    They're provided iPhon,but we can never contact with the managements after5pm.They use it mainly for LINE and SNS.
    They often goes to night club for the customer meeting. Is this true? I'm not sure it is For Custmmer or for private entertainment?

    Internal Audit team or Helpline is no use...

    Advice to Senior ManagementConsider engineers as most important.
    TRW is not investment company.
    Should check the management'expense carefully.
    There is a rumor Some managements may waste JP's money for own...in our country.

    ProsNone! None! None! Slave drivers!

    ConsUnion is weak, a lot of rats. Slave drivers! Pay is horrible! They make you work 19 days straight including holidays ie... Good Friday, Memorial Day.

    Cheapest company to work for, horrible management.

    ProsThe people I worked with on my line were great to work with, in fact a lot of machine operators are very friendly people and work hard. Not a lot of heavy lifting.

    ConsVery unfair treatment of employees. Ripping off their annual raise. Very cheap company to work for. Their machines are broken, and instead of fixing them properly they just "bandage" the situation and hope it goes away. The health and safety of employees is their last concern. The Metal working fluids they use to machine their parts is full of bacterias and mold, and makes a lot of employees ill. Their "union" is a joke. a waste of $60 a month. Use of contract employees, going through a process of hiring on contract employees full time, but seems very biased. Noticing a lot of women with low cut shirts getting hired. Already pissed of GM enough that they are not allowed to bid on new contracts with them, had to resort to BMW and keeping existing GM lines. Talk among a lot of employees on the floor about the plant possibly going under in a few years. Always running out of components and missing shipment, and management always blames the operators, when in reality, it's management not ordering enough components or not allowing proper maintenance of their machines, thus a lot of machine downtime!! Also, noticing some lines won't have any work all week, yet I see them get mandated every saturday. Totally wrong and should not be allowed.

    Advice to Senior ManagementHow about you smarten the hell up before you all lose your jobs? learn to take care of your employees.

    Very Disappointing

    ProsPlenty of capable people who are willing to work in a team environment. Being such a large company, they can afford to invest in innovative concepts.

    ConsWeak people-leadership from the very top ... creates atmosphere of mistrust, fear and inhibited creativity and problem solving....as well as fostering divisiveness.

    Advice to Senior ManagementReplace the CEO with one capable of inspiring the organization...not just breeding fear throughout it! The culture feels toxic and demoralizing........and caters to the lowest common denominator at the expense of the talented majority and ultimately, the organization as a whole!

    ConsCompany does not care about employees, only interested in profits for share holders. When you resign you are treated like an outcast.

    Most Miserable, Depressing place on earth.

    ProsLots of over time, you need it when you don't make any money.

    ConsHorrible hourly pay rates, out of date machines, dirty, lack of leader ship. Poor leader ship due to high turn over, to many un experienced team leaders, supervisors. Management just there to collect a paycheck. Horrible insurance with high out of pocket costs and high premiums. Can't get a better insurance plan for the 65,000 employees? Horrible work/ life balance, your home is just a place to store your stuff. 8 hours a day 7 days a week.

    Would never recommend to anyone with standards

    ProsNone. Company is so poorly run. Incredible that company is still surviving. However, competitors are catching up with their products and profits are down. Great place for program managers who have no true skills to get hired into high salaries.

    ConsOverworked employees. Another review discussed in great detail how 12+ hour days are the norm. Each employee has workload of about 3 people. Working systems are ineffective- simply creates busy work. IT systems do not work either. There is no training and no consistency between people who share roles. Turnover is very high as employees soon realize the poor morale and poor working environment. It is the norm for teams to get into "survival mode" which is stabbing others in the back constantly. There is no encouragement to employees for growth and company as a whole is reactive rather than being progressive.

    Advice to Senior ManagementStop being so selfish and look at the company's growth as a whole and recognize that true growth can only occur when the company invests in ALL employees. Not just upper level managers, VP etc. Mid level managers need to tell executives when their expectations are unrealistic. It's disgusting that the CEO makes millions annually yet hiring freezes are set and bonuses are not paid out to the employees who work 12+ hour days, 6-7 days per week.
