Application

I applied through college or university. The process took a dayinterviewed at Amazon.com (UC Berkeley, CA (US)) in February 2015.

Interview

Basic interview, talked up and down resume. They then asked me some basic software questions about stacks, queues, graphs, etc. We then discussed some of the standard behavioral questions. Second interview was more of the same but this one was more of a conversation than interview with only one real problem posed.

    Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at Amazon.com (London, England (UK)) in February 2015.

    Interview

2 x 30 min interviews on campus for summer internships. Both interviewers looked fairly disinterested in the whole thing although to be fair they had done a day of interviewing. The questions were as expected - tell me about a complex problem, tell me about a time you didn't meet a commitment, tell me about your greatest achievement.

    Application

I applied online – interviewed at Amazon.com in September 2014.

    Interview

I was interviewed by someone who had only been working at amazon for a year or so. The usual questions were asked (why amazon, why do you think you would be a good fit etc) but I had to reply in a lot of detail and was asked to 'further explain' a lot and be very precise.

    Interview

The interviewer straight up asked to solve coding questions and didn't give any time for introductions or discussing about what I'd done. He was typing something on the laptop the whole time and was very slow in responding to questions, he was almost oblivious to the fact that I was sitting in front of him and trying to tell him something. He chucked aside any alternate solutions I gave to him and wanted me to come up with the exact algorithm he wanted.
