No Offer – Reviewed May 16, 2013

Interview Details Contacted by a recruiter about a different position than the one I applied for. Had phone call from the recruiter followed by phone interview with the hiring manager.
The call was about 1/2 hr with regular behavioral and work related questions.

 I was told that I will hear back in a weeks time but still waiting to hear back after 2 weeks. Over all an ok experience.

Interview Details I was contacted by HR first, then by the sales manager, there was only one inteview with the sales manager. HR only contacted me to set it up. The interview lasted about an hour and a half, he told me two people were leaving next week so he needed someone urgenlty. I was hired three days after and I was told to be there asap.

Accepted Offer – Interviewed in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) Mar 2012 – Reviewed Jan 06, 2013

Interview Details Get to know of the job vacancy through their internal employees.
Submitted resume through internal employee referrals.
Got called up for 2 interview session.

The first one was a general interview (1-to-1) with the country manager for background check and career interest. Basically the country manager just want to make sure he/she gets the right person for the job. Requirement for the job: Technical knowledge in semiconductor industry, good presentation skills and good communication skills.

The second interview was a technical interview (Phone Interview) with the FAE Manager in Singapore to check on technical skills competency. Expectation from FAE Manager: Have experience working in R&D department, good technical background, able to communicate fluently when promoting products to customers.

After both interviews, waited for response and feedback from the country manager on the application status.

Negotiation Details – Smooth. Meet expected salary. Good interaction with hiring manager and HR department.
