Interview Details Apply online. Got called to schedule interview. Came in, they had me do a competency test on the computer and mathematics on a paper test. I completed it really quickly and correctly. Had face to face interview with Interviewer and then the A.B.O.M (Asst Business Office Manger). If you get offered the drug test the same day then you know you got the job. Did the drug test. Scheduled another interview with the B.O.M. for a follow up interview the same week.
Interview Question – Nothing too difficult. Just your typical "tell me about when..." type of questions. Answer Question
Negotiation Details – I didn't negotiate. I knew the pay scale and the manager went over how initial raises are given.

Interview Details Applied online for a new location. Got a phone call to set up a phone interview. The phone interview was pretty brief and asked typical questions. Said they loved talking with me and set up my second interview. It was being held at a "hiring center." There I was seated at a computer to answer some questions about my drug history, etc. After being called in for the interview, I was asked the identical questions as on the phone, only like 4-5 questions. I can assume he did not like my answers, and I felt like I flunked a test or something, because after 4 simple questions I was done, told I'd hear something within 48 hours and then promptly escorted out the door. Felt like they already had hired for the position. They sent me an email first thing the next morning informing me they hired another candidate.

Interview Details I applied through a job posting on campus. Had a phone interview about 2 weeks later. The interview was about an hour long and was mostly one large case but there were some behavioral questions. Got invited to a superday down at their headquarters in Kennesaw (Auto Finance). Superday consisted of 4 case interviews, 1 behavioral interview, a laid back conversation and the drug test. It was longer than the other super days I attended. I interviewed on a Friday and got a call on Monday that I was being extended an offer.
Interview Question – The business cases were based off of real world problems for the most problem. A lot of break-even type equations, etc. Answer Question

Interview Details CarMax hires its sales consultants on the spot, or fairly soon after the initial interview. There are online questions that a candidate must answer at the beginning of the interview process. After which, the candidate meets with a department manager (not necessarily in the sales department). If that interview goes well, then a second interview is done with a different manager. I was offered a position after the second interview.
Interview Question – Connecting with people. The concern wasn't so much with past sales experience, but with an ability to connect with people. Answer Question
