Interview Details Short, 3 min phone interview. A week later had a regular phone interview that covered my resume. Invited to take a assessment: 30 math, 30 logic questions. "passed" the assessment and had face to face interview with 2 managers.
Interview Question – Mostly straightforward. Describe a situation when you had to think creatively or outside the box to solve a problem. Were you successful? Why or why not? Answer Question

Interview Details Initial interview was done by phone, followed by a personality test. After personality test did an additional phone interview. Once past that round was asked to go into office and take the sifma assessment to test the probability of my ability to pass the series 7 & 63. Once passing the sifma I was asked to come in for final round of interviews. Interviewed by two managers, questions were fairly easy and mostly situational.

No Offer – Interviewed in San Francisco, CA (US) Apr 2013 – Reviewed Apr 30, 2013
Interview Details First there is phone screening with human resource recruiter, asking generic questions about my job experience and skill sets to make sure it fits the job description. Then there is the phone interview with the hiring manager which goes deeper into the resume items and there were questions on items that were of special interest to him. Finally, there were in-person interviews with 6 people (including hiring manager).
Interview Question – A technical question was asked about the SQL needed to address a specific problem statement and was expected to give the exact syntax for the solution Answer Question
No Offer – Interviewed in San Francisco, CA (US) Feb 2013 – Reviewed Apr 20, 2013
Interview Details Overall it was a normal process. Met 8 people in total spread out in two afternoons. The questions they asked are all what expected for a analytics position.
Interview Question – The interviewer with the most seniority (VP) expressed concern over my relatively shorter tenure ( average of 2-3 years) from my previous jobs, although I have been with my current company for almost 4 years. Not surprising, since the range of tenure among the 8 people I met is 8 to 25 years. Don't know if long tenure is CS culture, but at least in this department it is. Answer Question
Accepted Offer – Interviewed on Indianapolis, IN (US) Mar 2013 – Reviewed Apr 16, 2013
Interview Details Behavioral based questions via phone and office interviews. A lot of focus on "Why Charles Schwab?"
Interview Question – Tell me about a time you had to use good judgement or logic. Did quick role play (skill test) during office interview. I had to pretend I was the rep and the interviewers were the client. Sat me in front of the computer and asked basic questions about deposits and line items. The final question requires you to perform a simple math calculation by adding together 4 deposit amounts. 2 managers interviewed me and seem very nice. Had a good sense of humor. Don't be fooled by the friendly demeanor. It is an interview. Not a friendly chat. Answer Question
Negotiation Details – There was no negotiation.

Accepted Offer – Interviewed on Denver, CO (US) Feb 2013 – Reviewed Mar 21, 2013
Interview Details As detailed by others, brief phone conversation followed by an approx. one hour phone interview. Didn't hear back, but I followed up with the recruiter and he moved me on to the next stage. Rather than taking the SIFMA assessment next, as most others had done, I had an interview with two team managers from the Denver office. Lots of behavioral questions; just have a few good anecdotes about your customer service experience handy. From there, I took the SIFMA, which consisted of confusing logic questions that just must be read carefully and math that focused heavily on profit and interest. Later that day, I received a call from a recruiter telling me that I passed and conditionally offering me the job if I passed a background screen and credit check.
Interview Question – Name a time a relationship got started off on the wrong foot, and what you did to correct it Answer Question
Negotiation Details – Take it or leave it, 40k base pay with bonus potential and a possible 10% shift differential.
