Interview Details I love this store but I do have to say I am not impressed with the way it was handled. I lived 2 hours away from the store and was moving there- so I called the store. They had 3-4 positions opened. I applied and faxed my application to the store from my hometown store. I setup the date and the time of the interview because the Store Manager didn't know. Called to confirm the appointment and she invited 3 other girls to this interview. I drove all the way from my hometown to find there were 5 other girls there plus me. That kind of rubbed me the wrong way. I helped her set up the area and take it down. I dressed in Charlotte Russe skirt, heels and jewelry (because I shop there ALL the time). She asked questions and I answered a few so well that she went on from comment- greeted her other employees, told her my availability is open and when I could start. She said she'd call us in a couple days and never did. So I checked with her and she said she hadn't even reviewed anyone yet- she will next week. Called the next week and she already hired 2 previous store managers but still can't make a decision on the other people. I told her I hope all my driving shown dedication and calling as well- I have over 6 years customer service experience, 2 years loss prevention and I am in a leadership role with my other business. She said I interviewed just fine but she doesn't know what decision to make. At that point I told her I am going to apply to other places and now I have 3 interviews but just walking in to other stores.

Interview Details When I applied in July 2009, I got an application from an employee in the store and I turned it in the next day. I received a call from the Store Manager who was also the Hiring Manager. She scheduled a group interview, it was me and two other girls. Typical interview questions were asked, I got a call back two days later and accepted the offer. The company still has the same hiring process, pick up/turn in application at the store you are interested in and if you have not heard back from them within two weeks they are not interested. Please DO NOT call about the status of your application..upper management HATES that especially when we are extremely busy and someone is just calling about their application. If they are interested they WILL CALL YOU.
Interview Question – Honestly, the interview process was easy. If you know how to have basic subject-verb agreement in your statements when you're speaking then you will be fine. HOWEVER, there is a new manager on board who is a little......over the top....to say the least. So just take a few deep breaths before the interview and you will do great. View Answer

Interview Details I walked in ten minutes early and was asked to wait for the other girls. It was 3 more girls and 1 guy. We walked outside of the store into some couches which I thought it was very weird. He asked the WEIRDEST questions that had NOTHING to do with the store. I disliked everything about the interview, I will NEVER apply at Charlotte Russe.
Interview Question –
What is the biggest Kingdom thing you have made?
Tell me about yourself?

Interview Details
I filled out an application in person in the store. I received a call about doing an interview a few days later.
I showed up at the interview for 9 a.m. that morning. There were about 3 or 4 other girls waiting to be interviewed at the same time. We were waiting and 15 min went by then 30, then 45... No one showed up until about 9:45 and it was the store manager. Apparently the assistant manager was supposed to be there to interview us but overslept or whatever. I was already unimpressed but wanted to go through with the interview because I already waited.
The store manager interviewed us all at one time. We were just asked basic questions about fashion, customer service, etc . We also had to pick out an outfit for a girl's birthday and explain why we chose that outfit. The interview probably lasted about an hour. I was called back the same night being asked to come in the next day. I came in the next day and he said that he had contacted my references and that I was highly recommended. He asked me a few last questions and offered me a job. I accepted.

Interview Details My former district manager had mentioned that Charlotte Russe was looking for managers so I contacted the district manager to show my interest and to set up an interview. I had two one on one interviews, first with the district manager, the second with another store manager. The first interview was on a bench outside the store in the mall. I was in a button down shirt and nice slacks and felt a little over dressed since the district manager was wearing leggings and a longer shirt. My second interview was in the office of the second store I interviewed at and again on ky sweater and nice slacks was dressed up more than the store manager who was wearing jeans, a tshirt and vest. From both interviews I got the idea that the company was starting a new, positive direction and that they were focused but pretty casual in their style.
Interview Question – How do you think you would adjust to working in a lower position that you are currently in? Answer Question
Negotiation Details – I was able to negotiate my salary and was able to get the number I was asking for. I had previous experience above the position I was applying for and the plan was for me to advance to my own store within a few months, so I had good reason for getting what I asked for.

Interview Details Very laid back, group interview. Asked about a handful of questions. Awnsered humbly and asked the interviewer about herself at the end. Got offered the job 2 days later.

Interview Details I was shopping when the position was mentioned to me so I filled out an application and submitted it in person. I was told by the store manager that she would call me with details of a phone interview. Days passed and I had heard nothing so I decided to make the call. I was then told that they needed to do a background check and that they would again call with interview details. I dropped off the information but again, I ended up making the call. I was excited to finally get the details of my interview but a half hour after my interview was supposed to start, I had still not received a call to begin my interview so I called the store. About fifteen minutes later the phone rang and it was the DM. To wait almost an hour for a call, I expected that it would take a little more than 12 minutes for the interview but that was it. Needless to say, I was not offered the position and can't say that I'm too upset about it. The interview process says a lot about the company itself.

Interview Details I was called and asked to come in the same day for an interview. I went and met the manager and went in the back. She asked me several questions off of cards. They consisted mainly of how I would handle certain situations like shoplifters, and keeping the money in the store by not doing refunds on returns but instead doing exchanges.
