I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Dun & Bradstreet (Center Valley, PA) in Mar 2020
Long process but thorough and fair. Had to meet with several levels in the interview process as well as teammates if hired Had to push them to move forward as I had several other offers and they accelerated the process with an offer
- Give an example where a customer was balking at the price of your solution despite the interest

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Waltham, MA
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Dun & Bradstreet (Waltham, MA) in Dec 2018
I was first phone screened by HR, then had a phone call with the hiring manager. It was efficient and positive. I was brought into the Waltham, MA office about a week later, where I interviewed with the hiring Director, who I had spoken to previously. She was very positive, showed me around, and spoke as if I was a perfect fit. During this visit, I also spoke with the Director's VP (boss). Both interviews were 30 minutes each. I left feeling great about the fit. I have not heard from anyone since. Its been a month and a half. I have done my due diligence and sent a couple emails to HR and a follow up to the hiring director. This is unacceptable. I prepared for each call, prepared for the in person meetings, and took the time to go into the office. I understand if I misread her, and I wasn't a fit, but not responding to someone is unprofessional and makes the company look badly. HR is representing D&B and they dropped the ball - actually they ignored the ball. No one is too busy to email "You aren't a fit". I really thought I got the job. This was a huge disappointment and I would have expected better from a reputable company like D&B.
- Are you able to juggle both the retention and new business aspect?

Phone interview with the recruiter, then an interview with the prospective supervisor and the team, then an interview with the section lead, and lunch with group head. There were several phone calls along the way.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Dun & Bradstreet
Initial phone interview with an internal recruiter, went well and basic sales questions. Recruiter moved me forward and was supportive throughout the process. Called back for interview in the office. Initial impression was good, seeing large open floor with casually dressed employees. Led to a room to meet with one of the Sales Managers. They gave a brief overview of the position, it was a little rushed. Then left me in the room with a phone for a mock call. Phone rings and I am instantly aking questions and trying to demonstrate knowledge of their preferred approach. Call goes through entire process (with a product overview for reference) and most importantly, asking for the sale and closing. Followed by high level feedback on my style, communication skills and approach. Told they would be in touch and received a call back within the week with a job offer.
- Director of NCA conducted the mock call, the pressure was on immediately and they played a "pleasant but tough" customer, throwing a few curveballs with objections and pushback on price.
