Applied via company portal, took the HR about 2-3 weeks to call me to schedule an initial discussion. Next round was with a practice principal and covered my knowledge, skill set and experience. Final round was with the partner before the offer was made.
Overall, very easy, professional process, and the interviewers were very friendly and made me feel quite comfortable.

One-On-One Competency interview: Here is where I think everyone's experience will differ depending on who interviews you. My interviewer was really nice, talked about her background, and gave me a chance to do the same. So it became more of a conversation rather than an interview--as least it had that feel to it. That would be my advice: try to turn it into a conversation. She asked me questions like: "Tell me about a time when you failed at something" or "Tell me about a time when you had a hectic deadline," "Tell me about a time when you worked in a group and someone wasn't pulling their weight," etc. The interview lasts about 15 to 20 minutes and at the end they'll ask you if you have any questions. This is the best opportunity to impress them. Have questions prepared, but its even better if you can personalize them--hence my earlier advice about making it into a conversation.
Online Exercise: It's basically a simulation of a day's life as a consultant. You sit at a laptop and write emails and answer multiple choice questions on a laptop. It's not something to be worried about. However, there is a writing exercise at the end that it VERY important. It basically asks you to decide on which company Trafford Lea should buy. You need to reason articulately in this exercise.
Group exercise--case study: When you get back from the online exercise then they split you into groups and give you a case study. This case study refers back the written exercise that you did at the completion of the online exercise. Here, the person who interviewed you in the one-on-one interview will be here plus another unbiased observer. They see how you interact for about 20 minutes, insert additional information at a critical moment, and then ask that you come to an unanimous decision.
If successful, then get called back about a week later for a partner interview.

Accepted Offer – Interviewed in Sydney – Reviewed Dec 14, 2012
Interview Details Very disorganized and convuluted. Ended up being over 8 interviews, lots of positive feedback. They offered me the job and then just as i was waiting to sign final paperwork pulled it. I suspect they were going through a restructure however the whole way it was handled was appalling. The partners I met were fine but their support staff are really disappointing. I would never use them as a firm now.
Interview Question – Nothing, straightforward Answer Question
Negotiation Details – Don't trust them. Only deal with the partners directly. The Hr people were really weak.
Declined Offer – Interviewed in Brisbane Aug 2012 – Reviewed Aug 28, 2012
Interview Details Very little notice of interview however appeared quite organised on the day. Great opportunities to meet with current grads and ask questions. The manager who did interview was very friendly and relaxed, allowed plenty to time for questions. Case study and discussion activity within groups was quite enjoyable and not as intense as expected.
Interview Question – When have you set an aggressive goal for yourself and how did you achieve it? Answer Question
