Interview Details I got a job interview through a job fair and the general manager gave me a call to set up an interview the next day. I was interviewed by a marketing manager, the general manager, and a senior sales advisor. They asked standard interview questions. They are wanting motivated sales advisors and the questions are focued on how you would do in a sales enviroment.

Interview Details The initial communication was done over email. A recruiter reached me wanting to set up an interview. I was excited at the prospect of getting into the recruiting world. I emailed the recruiter a few days/times that worked for me but never heard back from her. I only heard back after I sent another email to her two days later. She was able to get me an interview immediately. I did my research on drivetime and was pleasantly surprised on how large of a building the mesa office was. It's a call center environment. The Receptionist wasn't the friendliest but the guy I interviewed with was overly nice and friendly.I found it a little weird that they didn't want to do a phone interview first especially since I have no prior experience in recruiting.
Interview Question – There really wasn't a lot of questions during my interview Answer Question

Interview Details Two rounds of phone screening interviews and one in person interview. Both phone interviews are pretty easy. They just want to know what kind of person you are and then go through your resume. The onsite interview is more formal, about an hour and half. The whole atmosphere is pretty lay back and there are not many tough "technical" questions.
Interview Question – They give you an scenarios which would require some data mining skills. And they want to know how are you going to solve the problem. Answer Question

Interview Details Applied online I had two phone interviews and one in-person interview with a Area Manager. The job posting was for a position in my area and another was 20 miles away. It was very clear at the in-person interview that the local position I applied was only going to be available if I move out of state after the 6 month training program.

Interview Details I was called for a phone interview and the questions asked were pretty general. The HR recruiter sounded awkward and nervous, and the pay that was offered was extremely low. To cut to the chase, I didn't think the position was worth it.
Interview Question – No particularly difficult questions. Answer Question
Reason for Declining – The pay was extremely low.

Interview Details After applying online, I received a phone call about a week later that my application was received and that I would be getting a phone call from a hiring manager. I had a phone screen, and invited for a 1-on-1 interview at a nearby location shortly thereafter. I was invited back for a 2nd interview with 2-on-1. A day or 2 later I was offered the job.
Interview Question – Very general interview process. Little or no surprise questions. They will ask how you handle a certain type of clientele. Answer Question
Negotiation Details – No negotiation -- Take it or leave it.

Interview Details
I received a phone call 2-3 days after initially applying from a recruiter. Went in same day for an in person interview with the recruiter than was able to schedule an in person with DriveTime hiring managers a couple hours later. Went in and initially had an oral board interview followed by a one-on-one with two hiring managers. Standard personality, work history, strength/weakness questions.
I had been called in for the Underwriter position but the position they kept describing was collections. I brought this point up saying that I had applied to the underwriter position and I was told that collections was underwriting. I decided to keep going on with the interview to see where it went and they ended up making me an offer.
After declining the offer due to low pay, mediocre benefits that wouldn't kick in for 90 days and most importantly false advertising in regards to the job itself, I received a follow up email from the original recruiter. She asked if I would be interested in future openings in underwriting at DriveTime. I asked if they would be actual underwriting positions or how they would be different from the "underwriting" position that I had applied to and I never heard back from her.
Interview Question – What is your favorite movie and why? Answer Question
Reason for Declining – I declined because the actual job did not match the job description in the original job posting. Underwriting is not collections. Also the pay was lower than current job and benefits would not kick in for 90 days.

Interview Details After an intial discussion at a networking event, I was asked to participate in an initial phone screening. The questions were common, predictable behavioral questions. At one point during the phone screening, a second interviewer came online to answer a question. Overall, the screening went relatively well, but I was not invited to participate in a second round of interviews.
Accepted Offer – Interviewed on Las Vegas, NV (US) Jan 2012 – Reviewed Jan 04, 2013
Interview Details Was nice and quick. Liked managers. Expectations for growth are sold as high but consistently fall short in execution. Typically told 6 months to senior sales based on backround and as though one has control over their training, (you do not), and amount of seniors already on staff. Their can only be so many senior sales advisors per size of store, location, and growth opportunities across country.
Interview Question – Are you willing to work more hours than you are scheduled for? View Answer
Negotiation Details – Their is none. Standard entry level at 31500 base plis comm. annually and you want senior sales at 36000 base plus bonus.
Accepted Offer – Interviewed in Sep 2012 – Reviewed Dec 09, 2012
Interview Details Quick but not effective
Interview Question – I did a lot of research about the company before the interview. The interview was pretty casual. You told them what you knew and just continue the conversation. Answer Question
Negotiation Details – i got an acceptable offer and I wanted to change my job at the time. So, it wasn't the regretful decision that I accepted the offer.
