Senior Business Systems Analyst at Epsilon

Accepted Offer – Interviewed in Irving, TX (US) Sep 2009 – Reviewed Feb 28, 2013

Interview Details The hiring process in general seems to take a long time. Most interviews are with more than one person. There are many departments and interviewees may meet with more than one. Some departments need this position to be mor technical than others, but they don't always revise the posted job descripton. This company misses out on hiring good people because the process is slow.

Interview Question – A lot SQL questions.   View Answer

Negotiation Details – There's not much to negotiate on.

Software Engineer at Epsilon

Accepted Offer – Interviewed in Wakefield, MA (US) Jan 2013 – Reviewed Jan 25, 2013

Interview Details I first had an interview with an architect at the recruiter office in Boston, pretty straight forward, good talking, enjoyable conversation about code and a little exersice (fizzbuzz) on a whiteboard. After this, they invited me to a second round interview with 5 guys, same talking about my background, past experience and some pretty basic code challenges, they just wanted to see how I code Java.

Interview Question – Implement a mathematical equation format validation, just limited to the basic arithmetic's operations, so you have to validate the correct format of something like {[a+(b-c)] / 5} where something like {[a+(b-c / 5} is wrong.   Answer Question
