Interview Details I applied at my university and was emailed to schedule an on campus interview. Met with an interview and was asked mostly behavioral questions. I thought it went pretty well, but they sent me an email saying they were not interested in hiring me at this time.

Interview Details
I was taken out to dinner with around 10-15 other candidates. I then had an on-campus interview which lasted 45 minutes. The questions were pretty straightforward, behavioral based. (i.e. Tell me about a time when...) My interviewer recommended me for the Sales Territory Management position, at which point my name entered a pool of candidates from all national universities.
I contacted my recruiter and RPAT to let them know that I had another offer deadline, which I believe expedited the hiring process. They flew me to Fairfax and had three 45 minute interviews as well as meals with a host. The interviews were again pretty straightforward and behavioral based. I think that if you get an on-site interview, they mainly want to see 1) how well you fit with the company and other employees and 2) how well you present yourself.
Overall: Not extremely stressful/difficult interviews, but a lot of work to get an interview
Interview Question – Tell me about a time when you had to sell your idea to a group of people. How did you go about that/did you face any problems? Answer Question
Negotiation Details –
The salary was better than I was expecting, and with the bonus package there wasn't much competition. I accepted without negotiation. I believe they offer a good enough starting salary that they don't expect to negotiate much.
I was told that you might get a couple thousand more, but you risk leaving bad feelings with the recruiters. Since Exxon is a long-term proposition anyway, it's not worth it in my opinion.

The interviewer was really nice, he did an excellent job of explaining the questions and allowed me the option to pass on a question and he would then ask me a different one from the same category.

Interview Details The interview was very laid back. The interviewer started out by talking about herself and the projects she had been a part of throughout her career at Exxon. She went over my resume and asked me some questions about my experiences, but nothing out of the ordinary. She finished the interview by asking me whether I wanted to work in the upstream or downstream industries and if I had any preferences as far as location.

Interview Details Process began with an on-campus information session and career fair networking. I then applied for an interview and was accepted to that stage. The interview was behavioral, not technical. Questions were largely specific to my resume, and probing in the direction of leadership, teamwork, and challenging problem-solving.

Interview Details I received an on-campus interview from Exxon through my school's career fair / career website. The interview was about 45 minutes and mostly HR type questions. When did you work with a difficult person, etc. The interviewer was nice and requested my answers be in the STAR response format. They said they'd let me know if i was declined in two weeks, but if i was to make it to the next round it may take months. From knowing people who made it to the next round, they often tell you within a few weeks too.
