Software Engineer Interview (Neutral Experience)
I applied in-person and the process took a day - interviewed at Fidelity Investments.
Interview Details One round of technical interview and one Hr round for negotiation. Easy to crack. Technical interview will be more on basics and your hand son experience in last company. Be sure to be confident in the interview. They like confident people to have on board.
Financial Representative Interview (Positive Experience; Easy Interview)
I applied online and the process took 2 weeks - interviewed at Fidelity Investments in March 2014.
Interview Details You are greeted by two people in HR that take you on a tour of the campus. Bring your resume because they take two copies to give to the managers that will be interviewing you. You learn about the company and then get taken to another room to do your interview with two managers. After that you are taken to another room to take a critical thinking test. Got a call later that day to inform me how the interview went.
Interview Question – One of the managers asked if I would recommend he go to Harvard or Yale. He was looking to see how well I could ask questions to identify which one would better fit his situation. Answer Question
Negotiation Details – I did not negotiate because I was happy with the offer.
Associate Systems Analyst Interview (Positive Experience; Average Interview)
I applied through a recruiter and the process took 3 weeks - interviewed at Fidelity Investments in July 2014.
Interview Details HR has called and scheduled an interview after 5 days. Interview was good but it was my first interview as a professional. So, got tensed sometimes and hesitated. Still now I am waiting for the call after interview but as 5 days are already over, so chances are little.
Interview Question – All questions are normal. Just dont take any pressure. It was my first interview so when they asked something I have already worked upon I have hesitated and forgot the answer. Answer Question
Customer Service Associate I Interview (Positive Experience; Easy Interview)
I applied online and the process took 4+ weeks - interviewed at Fidelity Investments in April 2014.
Interview Details Two phone interviews. One short one to get information and another hour long one that went over typical interview questions. Straight forward and not a lot of pressure. Asked questions about experience and how you handle workplace situations. Don't need a total understanding of investing. More focused on communication skills and how you deal with people. Then hour long face to face interview. Group of 10 that gets a powerpoint presentation then break into one on one or one on two interview. Similar questions as in phone interview but more situational to dealing with clients and team members.
Interview Question – Ask what you would do if someone called who was upset about a previous experience trying to get a hardship loan and was denied of had a negative experience in general. Answer Question
Brokerage Services Representative Interview (Neutral Experience)
I applied online and the process took 4+ weeks - interviewed at Fidelity Investments.
Interview Details Started as a temp and hired by Veritude. I had a phone interview with Veritude representative and then only one interview in person with SMP vice president. It was an hour long interview and asked some technical/informative questions about Finance and Fixed income.
Interview Question – If I ask someone what they dont like about you, what I will supposed to hear from them? Answer Question

Interview Details Contacted by internal staffing recruiter. 30 minute phone call with basic fit / personality questions. They just want to get to know more about your background and communication skills. Set up 1 on 1 interview with branch manager and now waiting for second round panel interview.
Interview Question – No difficult questions. Basic why do you want to work in this position and why Fidelity? Come prepared with good questions about career path and the job you applied for. Be ready to give examples for questions like " what was your greatest challenge in xxx job." Look over the Fidelity website, read their research, and check out the products they offer. Financial Advisor Interview (Neutral Experience)

Interview Details Okay Interview. The interviw was an okay interview. The interview process involved several rounds of interview with different department managers. Questions asked were at par with level of position applied for.

Very Easy Interview
Senior Software Engineer Interview (Positive Experience; Very Easy Interview)
I applied online and the process took 2 weeks - interviewed at Fidelity Investments.
Interview Details Process took 2 weeks with Inital Telephone call with recruiter, two 30 mins telephone calls with the Managers. Very easy, they try to understand our interest and see the job fit

Retirement Solutions Representative Interview (Positive Experience; Difficult Interview)
I applied online and the process took 4 weeks - interviewed at Fidelity Investments in March 2014.
Interview Details You go through a phone interview and an in-person interview. Both are behavioral. The phone interview takes about 45 minutes in total. The human resources department will get back to you shortly after to notify you if you have made it to the next round of in-person interviews. The in-person interview takes about 2.5 hours in total. You take a tour of the facility and go through a PowerPoint presentation about Fidelity. After this you go into an interview with two managers from the department you're applying for. Once again this is a behavioral interview. After the interview human resources will let you know if you have been offered the job or not.
Interview Question – Your boss needs your help on an important matter, you are currently on the phone with a customer, and you are supposed to call another customer back in 15 minutes. All three matters are important, how do you satisfy all three situations? Answer Question
Senior Manager Interview (Positive Experience; Average Interview)
I applied through a recruiter and the process took 2+ weeks - interviewed at Fidelity Investments in June 2014.
Interview Details Competency based interview with questions around operational management and Agile Approach. First interview with Hiring Manager, then further interview with other Manager and HR. First interview fairly short (30 min).
