Accepted Offer – Interviewed on Muntinlupa (Philippines) Jan 2012 – Reviewed Mar 20, 2013
Interview Details
I was a project-based employee so I was immediately hired due to the demand in manpower. Examination included basic AISC steel design, concrete design (ACI), estimation, and a few design questions related to practices for oil and gas. Fresh graduates may find the examination easy as the design questions address pretty much textbook designs. Familiar with the AISC and ACI codes is essential.
Also there was a short IQ test.
The interview was mostly on past design experience, expectations should you get hired and your expected salary.
Interview Question – Are you okay with not being able to use your MS (geotechnical) if you would work here? View Answer
Negotiation Details – No. Jack up your expected salary as they will definitely try to negotiate.

Declined Offer – Interviewed in Greenville, SC (US) – Reviewed Mar 07, 2013
Interview Details Applied through on-campus career website. About 2 weeks later had first interview on-campus with two accounting managers. They were very informal and friendly. They first asked, tell me about yourself but something not on your resume. Everything from then on was conversational. It was easy to relax and allow my personality to shine through, which is what they wanted. At the end of the interview they told me I had great interview skills. About a week or two later, I got a call from the HR department to schedule an interview at their office in Greenville. In-office interview was informal as well. I interviewed with 6 different people including accountants, accounting managers, financial analysts, and I believe the controller. Prepare for "why this company," "why this job," "why your school," "strengths and weakness." Be able to describe your work experiences and relate them to job applying for (even if not directly related). Be able to sell yourself without being overzealous and all the while showing personality.
Interview Question – Nothing was out of the norm. They want to get to know you, so don't be thrown off if they ask you why you chose your school and why you want to move to the job city. Answer Question
Reason for Declining – I had other obligations for school and VERY unfortunately, I couldn't accept the offer.
