Interview Details Had a chat with the GE recruitment consultant. always reschedule the call. Never every say yes i am free right now. Most common questions are "tell me about yourself?" "why are you interested in this stream?" "Work Exp etc.". Please be advised that when he/she asks you towards the end if you have any questions for him/her. always have a question for him her. never leave the phone interview without asking a question. he/she expects you to be exceptional. dont give them a reason for rejecting by being ordinary. And do not for a second be casual in the interview. I received the offer because of almost 2 yr exp but i was not one of his top choices. thank god he was friendly and honest enough to tell me that!

Interview Details Standard phone screen, SHL testing and then an assessment centre focused on evaluating presentation and teamwork skills. Successful candidates then have an interview with a HR Business Partner and the ITLP Program Manager. Finally, if successful, you will be invited to a more informal interview with the Program Manager and the CTO, where they pitch to you why you should join GE and you can ask questions.
Interview Question – Too long ago to remember! The questions were very behavioural and the more difficult ones were around leadership experience and impact. As always, research the company. They are very proud at GE and they respond well to you knowing and respecting the brand. Answer Question

Interview Details I did the first round of telephone interviewing and was not expecting the questions to be as tough as they were. The interviewer really pushed me. One of the most difficult interviews I've done. I didn't go to a second round of interviews.

Interview Details Senior Executives and multiple interviews. Use of very high tech video conferencing for distance interviewing, with multiple screens connecting several interviewers. Behavioral based questions. They really ask about your experience working in a matrix environment, but don't explain the true complexity of the matrix. Integrated employees from acquisitions are often quietly eliminated after 2 years if they don't assimilate and deliver results.
Interview Question – What innovative ideas have you been responsible for introducing? View Answer
Negotiation Details – Similar to buying a car where the HR Leader is not allowed to make a decision, and must go back to multiple people for acceptable salaries and benefits. You can negotiate vacation time, stock options, and guaranteed bonus for Executive Band. There are several clearly defined packages for relocation. You never know how your peers are compensated, and there is a large scale for each salary band.

Interview Details After an online application, I was contacted by email for a telephone interview. The interview went well, I spoke clearly and gave concise answers, however a week later they contacted with a response saying they were very pleased with my interview but, they had better/ closer match.
