Interview Details The interview process is standard, two phone screens and one face to face. The interview questions are moderate, unlike other company which asked questions that make no sense. The interviewers are very patients and nice to talk with. One catch is that, the recruiter might be pushy and neglected to let you know how the interview process is. You have to ask him. Otherwise, he just scheduled an interview with no agenda.

Interview Details I submitted my resume at the career fair at my university. It took a few weeks to hear back from them since their deadline to submit applications online was a little later. My first interview was a 1:1 interview with a senior manager from the info session the night before. The interview was very conversational and relaxed. A week or so later I heard back that I had been offered to come out for a second interview. The second part of the process was a little different. The first night (night before the interview) there was a dinner at a very nice restaurant with execs and new hires. The dinner was informal but you should still be on your toes during the entire night. Act as if every conversation is a small interview. The day of the interview, we were given a small tour of the floor that Hitachi has in one of the buildings in Dallas. Their area was very nice and modern looking. After the tour, we sat in a meeting room and were fed info about the company and their benefits (which are GREAT)! Then it was time for interviews!!! The first interview was 1:1 and again very conversational. Then there was lunch with new hires. A second interview followed lunch along with a panel discussion and a group case study. The group case study was very relaxed. Just make sure you participate and have fun. Overall, it was a great experience! I loved it! The people were GREAT!

Negotiation Details – I tried negotiating my salary to start and that was declined to keep the consistency amongst the new hires. If I were you, I would try anyway. I then negotiated for relocation/signing bonus and it was accepted. The lady I negotiated with was very nice and REALLY excited that I liked the company and that I was accepting. My advice....NEGOTIATE!

Interview Details I applied for the job through my university. I heard back about a week later and went to the Career Center for an Interview. The initial interview is with 2 or 3 Managers or Senior Managers. It is mainly behavioral, but they did ask me some case interview-esque questions (e.g., market estimate). It was a pleasant experience and all my interviewers were alums of my university. I was advanced to the final round a week later. This last round consisted of 4 interviews with VP's. They asked questions about my resume, behavioral questions and again, some case-esque questions. All of them were very pleasant. After the interviews we went out to lunch, and I think this was the interesting part: you have 12 or so Type A's all vying for a job. I ended up getting an offer about a week and a half later. Great experience interviewing. Accepted the offer.

Interview Details Interview process consisted of one on-campus interview (about 30 minutes). If invited for a second round, it takes place in-house: 3-4 one-on-one interviews with Managers and above. Second round usually includes some sort of meal for meet and greet (dinner the night before, breakfast, one-on-one lunch). All questions are behavioral around the resume: strengths/weaknesses, accomplishments, leadership and group experiences.

Interview Details
Very comfortable interview process. Interview with one director, two senior managers, and the VP.
Mostly behavioral questions; senior managers may ask more technical or analytical questions.
After the interview, they treat you to a lunch with current associates.
Overall, an enjoyable process. Too bad I didn't get the position.

Interview Details
For the technical tract, the interview process started after the internal recruiters were given my information by an employee. The first call was with what would be my boss and simply was a "how interested are you" conversation as well as a quick overview of the company.
The follow up was a day of interviews consisting of technical and business screens with a peer, an immediate superior and an interested (but not directly connected) manager. The final interview was with the practice leader (a managing vice president).
Interview Question – If after six months you are not satisfied with your employment at Hitachi Consulting, how would you handle your exit strategy? Answer Question
Negotiation Details – My offer was what I had demanded in the first place so there was no negotiation. However, knowing what you want before they ask would be helpful and feel free to push back if it is not what you expect.

Interview Details There was a telephone interview with one of their architects. Pretty basic stuff. Then, I was invited to Seattle office for three rounds of interivew. First Round with another Senior Consultant, second round with director and the third round with VP. The interivew was good. They offered me the position within a week. They were very professional.
Interview Question – How will you react with customers and deal some tough situations? Answer Question
Negotiation Details – Negotiate to get what you want.
Pros: Big opportunity for career progression if you are good and on the right project.
