Launching Leaders Experience Interview

I applied online and the process took 4+ weeks - interviewed at J.P. Morgan in November 2012.

Interview Details First started with a phone interview, select group of students including myself were invited to a all expenses paid super day in NYC. We had the opportunity to network with other students as well as JP Morgan employees, followed by three interviews for the summer internship. I am still currently waiting for their decision.

Interview Question – The interviews were actually great. The interviewers were not there to drill us, they wanted to know more about us. No technical questions, they just wanted to see our passion for banking as well as our communication skills.   View Answer

Negotiation Details – I actually don't know yet about the offer. JP Morgan told us we would know in 2 weeks.

Very Difficult Interview

I applied online and the process took a day - interviewed at J.P. Morgan in March 2011.

Interview Details I would say it was unpleasant because the woman was not very friendly. I was interviewing for a Leadership conference that she knew nothing about. She asked me some tough questions that I was expecting. If you interview with them, be sure to know as much as possible about the specific business service you want to go into! They will grill you on it.

Interview Question – Biggest risk I've taken? Talk about a class that you struggled with? Talk about a time when you had a lot of deadlines and things didn't go as planned? What strengths will you bring to J.P. Morgan? What are your weaknesses? What would you like to improve upon within yourself? What is the riskiest type of investment? If I gave you 1 million dollars, what would you invest it in? What strategy would you advise a client on?   Answer Question
