Interview Details The interview went great. When you first go in, reach your hand first to give them a firm handshake and introduce yourself. My interviewers literally said "wow!" when I did that, I guess they didn't expect it! Maintain eye contact, do not twiddle your thumbs or say "like" when answering the questions they ask. I had them both laughing when we first sat down. First impressions are DEFINITELY the key!! Questions were fairly easy. . I got hired on my first interview, which apparently is rare. My friend works there and said they loved me. Don't tell them what you think they want to hear, tell them how you would take care of a guest who is yelling and complaining, and many more scenarios. The truth goes so much farther than you'd think. Good luck to future applicants!!!
Interview Question – I can't remember the exact question but it was somewhere along the lines of "How do you see yourself as an employee and working with others?" View Answer
Negotiation Details – Both interviewers asked why I was leaving my now previous employer. I just told them I have responsibilities to pay for that my previous employer couldn't help me with and they both said "I've been there done that. Don't worry, we're going to help you as much as we can."

Interview Details The interview process is a multi-staged professional interview. It is rigorous, and I have seen many people turned away. Recently, they have stopped accepting paper applications. This is a serious pitfall because the qualities required to be a successful server are not accurately represented thoroughly without face to face interaction.
Interview Question – Explain a time when a team heavily relied on you. Answer Question

Interview Details They are very friendly and professional, offered drinks and food during the application process, I had to take a math test which told me they were very thorough about the employees being able to handle money, I left after the application and math test. I was then called for my first interview with the assistant manager they asked questions regarding my past experience and how to handle some customer situations that can arise the assistant manager then got up and got the general manager for the final interview which was similar questioning just different scenarios. We shook hands then I was told to come back the nex day to start orientation and training.

Interview Details Applied online, and within 6-8 hours got an email asking to come in for an interview. Five minutes after that I got a phone call from the hiring manager, asking to come in the next day (wednesday) for a first interview with her. The interview was pretty basic, typical server position questions, such as, conflict resolution, team worker attitude, communication with management and what not. I seem to have nailed it because she got another manager to come in and give me my second interview on the spot. He was a bit more straightforward but I appreciated the no BS attitude. He spoke salary, and that I would be a servers assistant for a month or so... then after management consideration I could start on the floor. My first day was today, and it is a great job all in all.
Interview Question – nothing too scary... pretty straight forward question that anyone with any experience would know how to approach. Answer Question

Interview Details Applied online, got email days later saying they had open position for dishwasher and to call within two days and speak to mgr. I decided just to show up, check out the environment, meet the staff, make an impression. All for nothing...
Interview Question – The first manager I dealt with was friendly though I could tell he was kind of annoyed that he had to come out and deal with me in person. The mgr I was supposed to interview with didn't bother coming out which I should have gotten the clue, we did make an interview for the following week. So I came back and finally met the manager for the kitchen, conversational interview, when I explained my previous kitchen work he made some comments about the food I used to cook saying how much he hated that food which kinda rubbed me the wrong way...I applied for all the positions in the kitchen and the dishwasher job was open, it is the lowest rung on the ladder but being out of work 4 years I'll take anything, besides it's an easy job I've done in the past. Unfortunately it seemed the mgr was miffed why I'd be applying for that position when my skills were well beyond what was necessary. I just wanted a foot in the door, but I wasn't invited to enter...
