Microsoft Director (Business Role, Non-technical) Interview Question

I interviewed in Seattle, WA and was asked:
"There were two tough interviewers. They contradicted me throughout, at times stating I had the wrong experience base and not enough of it (although their questions were only remotely related to the position posted)."

I tackled some feedback head-on (respectfully). Other concerns, I redirected to situations I actually wanted to talk about, and played to my strengths. (After acceptance, you do have to prove your worth to these interviewers, so a bit of tact, backed by actual skills, can go a long way toward making a good working relationship.)
