Interview Details After online application, I was called for an interview. I was interviewed in a cramped, busy office. All the normal interview questions were asked. I then was asked to take a skills test. this test was all about money handling. Just common sense math. After the test, some more interview questions. I was asked for a drug test and hired on the spot. Overall, i feel that they were desperate.

Interview Details Applied online to two different stores; If your application is good and well, you're told to do an assessment in the store you'd like to work at. I was called for an interview about a week later although I was told they weren't hiring when I went in store to check on my application status. I had one interview and it was very basic. They do a urine drug test and background check which takes about a week to process. I was offered the job about 3 days after my interview.

Interview Details Interviewed online and was called about two weeks later. Went in for the interview and it was pretty easy. All I was asked about was what I was doing in school, where I wanted to be in about five years, and why I chose Walgreens. Took a skills test which took about two days and was officially hired.

Interview Details
(I'm a 16 year old sophomore)
First, I filled out an online application which took about 30 minutes. After completing all of the information, I was instructed to fill out the second half, a "Skills Assessment", at one of their stores at my earliest convenience.
The next afternoon I stopped in at the store and told the cashier that I was there to complete a job application. She called the manager and I repeated why I was there. The manager asked if I was 18, and I explained that according to the application 16 was the minimum age for every department except for photos. She then seated me at a monitor behind the counter where I logged in to my active application using my SSN (if you don't have it memorized be sure to have it with you) and started the Skills Assessment.
The first half consisted of multiple choice "what would you do if..." questions. The second half was questions containing a picture of a price along with an assortment of bills and coins. The instructions said to find the correct change using the fewest bills and coins, and gave four options which read [Tens (#), Fives (#), Ones (#), Quarters (#), Dimes (#), Nickels (#), Pennies (#)] with different amounts for each option. The entire skills assessment took about 45 minutes to an hour.
As I was leaving the cashier told me to call back in a few days and confirm that the manager had received my application. A week later I called and asked for the manager, who told me that I should call back around 8 in the morning to speak to the manager that handled the hiring process.
When I did I spoke to the manager who asked my name and then my phone number, saying he would call in about half an hour. He called back 30-ish minutes later and very politely told me that he had looked over my application and that while right now he was looking for someone who was more available and could work days (I couldn't because of school), he would keep my application and call me if something opened up. I told him that in about a month I would be out of school and able to work days, and he said I should let him know when that changes.
Overall, this being my first job application, it was a very pleasant process. The system was well organized and the people I encountered were very friendly and polite. Though I did not get the job at this time, I hope to possibly work there this summer when I am available.
Interview Question –
If you did not like the lunch schedule that the manager had set up, would you:
a) talk to the manager and ask if he could change it.
b) bring a snack to have if you couldn't wait until lunch.
c) talk to your coworkers and see if they also had a problem, and then address the manager together.
d) complain to your coworkers about the issue.

Interview Details I applied online about four days before I was called about an interview. As part of their selection process, they require you take a skills assessment in-store. The first part of the application is done online, however. The second assessment consisted of multiple questions. These questions were relatively okay to answer but took some time to complete intelligently. The store manager will tell you this test should take about 30 minutes, but if you actually complete it with thought, the test will take about an hour or more. The questions involved deal with which positions you applied for. I believe I applied for photo, pharmacy tech, and something else. The questions generated for these involve looking at coupons and stating what was not listed on the coupon, making change for a customer, looking over prescriptions, and questions about customer situations. For my first interview, I met with a very nice woman in the photo department. She was friendly, on-time, joked with me, and seemed around my age. The interview lasted about 30 minutes. I did not have a second interview because the pharmacy manager was incredibly busy. I was hired during this interview.
Interview Question – Sometimes people need help without asking for it. Name a time when you helped someone that wouldn't ask for help. Answer Question
Negotiation Details – Only negotiation was for which position I would prefer.
