I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Walgreens (Deerfield, IL) in July 2012
Interview
There is one word to describe the interview process I went through...LONG. From start to finish, the span was over a few months. That doesn't include the time from the point I initially submitted my application. Between the hiring managers and HR managers, the process is really dragged out, so be prepared to wait and do multiple interviews before receiving an answer.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Had to complete a written exam including a business case. It wasn't that difficult, just stressful in addition to the interview.
The interview process was Standard. It was about 4 different rounds plus the interview with the recruiting. Exhausting process but at the end we were not aligned when it came to salary.
The Talent Acquisition manager was very helpful during the entire process to be sure I knew what to expect, even calling me right after the first email.
There were phone screens and two rounds of in-person interviews (pre-COVID) with multiple people each time. The process took time, but worth it.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Walgreens (Chicago, IL) in Mar 2018
Interview
HR Phone Screen, Hiring Manager 45 minute Call, In person with 3 People, 45 min each. They asked many Behavioral Interview questions. Inteviewers were friendly but I was glad to be well prepared for serious strategy questions.
