I explained how the Big 4 was limited in its exposure to the parts of the audit process for new hires, and McGladrey would offer me a broad perspective. A local firm would not offer the mobility and challenges for me to grow professionally, but McGladrey would. Plus, I enjoyed the ability to develop close relationships with the clients as well as co-workers.
