    flat organization, emphasis on efficiency, good retail pricing strategy, excellent growth


    No HR department (workplace issues may not be effectively managed). A staff's personnel manager is his direct leader's direct leader (how can they effectively manage personnel issues).
    The Aldi Mgmt System discourages delegation among peers and back delegation which has a tendency to promote a culture of 'not my business' in certain teams.
    Spreadsheets galore to manage processes--business applications are archaic and not good. Change management process on systems could take years as changes are discusses internationally.
