I have been working at Aircraft Service International part-time (less than an year)

Our team is contracted with UPS to load/unload their plane 4 nights a week. This works out great if you are a student in classes during the day or have a full-time day job.

This is a perfect job for those who want a start in the aviation and/or cargo industry. There are other departments for this company too (ex. fueling, cleaning lavs, etc.). The main thing is to put in some time, then apply to other similar jobs if you want.

The work is really easy and there is lots of downtime. I enjoy working with and for the people on my team. Personally, I enjoy working outside at the airport. We also get holidays off.

No benefits (which isn't a problem for me), pay is low, understaffed a lot, and high turnover. The equipment is old, but well cared for.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

A little extra pay would be nice, but I understand that we are grunts. Other than that, I think this is a great company with great management.
