    I have been working at Aquent as a contractor (more than an year)


    Deal with company HR departments that prefer not to deal with freelancers directly. Pays promptly. That's about it.


    Will tell you that it's a definite temp to perm, at the same time that they tell the client you're not interested in the permanent position. (Check out their contract, the client would have to pay $20,000 or $40,000 for you, depending on the yearly salary.)

    Have actually had a client come up to me and complain about the stupidity of the rep.

    Rep won't call you with feedback about the job, you have to aggressviely pursue them.

    Have many, MANY people who had a good relationship with the company who are then BURNED and can't go back because they either have to book through Aquent or pay an exorbitant fee to try you out.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    The Glass Door won't let me say that the Tech Department is unresponsive.
