Setting your availability to do freelance work is easy to do and Cactus is pretty flexible. The interface for receiving and managing jobs is great, and the feedback received on each job can be really helpful.

The feedback received on each job is pretty inconsistent depending on the reviewer, the pay is at the lower-end of the freelance editing spectrum, and the management team is disorganized as a whole. There are some individual managers who are good, but resolving issues can be a frustrating experience. The pay, although low, is usually deposited on time (mine was late one time).

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Train reviewers so that reviews are consistent, ensure that the management team is run in an organized way so that issues are resolved quickly and efficiently.
