I have been working at GE Capital full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Empowerment, flexible hours, excellent corporate culture and values, great training if you can get on it.

    Cons

The leaner we get there are less people there are to do the work and there is no prioritisation and nothing gets stopped. The organisational design has been compromised and is inefficient due to continued piecemeal restructures that managers have been encouraged to make without sufficient strategic review to ensure the changes align across the organisation and that there are still career paths for employees.
