    I have been working at Gartner (more than 8 years)


    I like that I get to work with such good, smart people. In my years at Gartner I've come across very few idiots or horrible people - and they don't last long here. We are encouraged to try new ways of doing things. As long as you can argue a good business case, new ideas fly here. The company is growing so it is financially rewarding and offers good development opportunities. High expectations for every person to perform and be the best they can be.


    Anyone who is a people manager receives fantastic training. Managing other people is rightly considered a huge responsibility at Gartner, to help us keep our great people. However, individual contributors get no training, unless you are in Sales then you get lots of training! I love the culture, it's like a big family, but it is also very data and process driven so if you don't like that it won't be a good cultural fit for you.

    Consider being less US-centric.
