    I have been working at Hewlett-Packard full-time (more than 10 years)

    I have worked at HP for more than 10 yrs. It was a brilliant company to work for but has declined significantly over the last few years. 3 CEOs with different strategies have been tried without any success. When Meg took over, she came up with a strategy of leveraging the breath of HP's offering to win more business. 2yrs into this strategy, she has decided to split the company into 2. So very confused management and nothing they do seems to work. They have heavily invested in Sales and the entire backend is broken since all good people who used to work in operations have quit due to no pay rises or appreciation. Result is a very political organisation where its become impossible to service customers - so even the sales force now is not able to make any commissions! Last few years have been a painful experience as an employee and its getting worse every day. I would not recommend anyone to join HP atleast in the next couple of years. Many employees have been hired recently and let go during probation period not because of performance but mainly because the company decided to re-structure which they keep doing every 3 months!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Please fix the backend so that Sales reps can concentrate on selling. Also, please stop restructuring! Any new idea or change takes time to bring results. Be patient and let people settle down so that they can concentrate of their work and not always worry about their jobs!
