I worked at Pew Charitable Trusts full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

I can't speak for how those who are NOT working within the communications department. I myself consider it to be one of the biggest professional mistakes I have ever made, the day I accepted an offer to work for the communications department at Pew.

    Cons

The incompetence of the management within the communications department is so legendary that, from all departments, this is the one with the most cultural firings, talent turnover, complaints from staff and the worst managers. I had the misfortune of working with the worse colleagues and on top, my manager was the sociopath of the department so he would use his charm to get away with even disrespecting the women working underneath him.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Time to do some spring cleaning my friends! Get rid of the bad managers and start bringing new and really talented people.
