    I have been working at Teva Pharmaceuticals

    Pros

    Solid culture, very true to its roots, tries to expand the boundaries of generics, good benefits, strongly global collaboration between groups, very good with work-life balance

    Cons

    Too many changes, but it is on a better road with new CEO. Raises and promotions are based on time in company and not performance, unfair and not logical, inconsistent behavior across departments, many pet projects and highly political, plus very conservative, sometime in excess which has lead to mistakes, little to no promotion/training from within, almost no reason to host an internal referral process. Very few family events

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Need to focus on a regional or global appraisal process that is consistent across departments, need to limit the influence of politics and pet projects which leads to wasted time and money, need to also promote/train within more, so many people have skills that can be used elsewhere or should be trained to fill needed jobs, it is cheaper and looks better for internal opportunities
