    Pros

If you can execute orders efficiently in an expeditious and motivated manner 24/7 throughout your enlistment, then you can really fly through the ranks and have outstanding experiences to include unlimited leadership growth, travel, and job/training opportunities.

    Cons

If you have an issue with orders, authority, or having your personal life publicized, then you may find the experience to be absolutely dreadful. You may find yourself playing the politics game every so often as well.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It's easy to mindlessly bark orders to complete a task when you hold rank over someone, but the best leaders can do this while still maintaining a positive relationship and respectable reputation with their Marines.
