Specialty Food Broker is looking for a full time Field Sales Representative to cover Service Deli and Service Bakery departments in retail grocery chains in Metro Denver and surrounding areas.
As a Field Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving sales and business development in your assigned territory. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the growth of our company.

Responsibilities include managing assigned territory, working closely with store personnel and securing placements in stores on authorized items. Other responsibilities are, but not limited to, maintaining plan-o-grams, category analysis, building displays, assistance with retail resets and remodels. The individual must be able to work and travel independently and visit numerous store locations to ensure requirements of the company and customer are met.

• Inform store level personnel of upcoming promotions, new items and ads
• Provide store level personnel with educational materials/information on our product lines
• Assist stores with ordering authorized products
• Provide assistance in resets and new store openings as scheduled by Manager. Some overnight travel may be required for accounts out of town
• Suggest and write orders as needed in specified accounts
• Check store back rooms and coolers and assist with merchandising products on the sales floor
• Insure products are properly rotated and out of the code product/spoils are processed appropriate

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers
• Ability to develop and maintain excellent relationships with in-store and management level customer operators
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Minimum 1 year previous experience in retail preferred.
• Strong background in deli and bakery categories preferred.
• Computer skills: basic Word, Excel and Outlook required.
• Must have reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory

Pay: $42,939.00 - $47,500.00 per year
