    About the Role
    We are transforming our core business systems at IRT, this includes implementing new systems and enhancing existing systems. Our focus is on improving our business systems processes, ensuring IRT is operating at its best. This role forms a part of the team that will drive this exciting program forward.


    In this role you will:
    • Collaborate with user groups (including subject matter experts and clinicians, projects leads) to further design and develop our core business systems in a proactive fashion ensuring all work is performed within a legislative and ethical framework
    • Engage with core system vendors for changes, maintenance and the administration and usage of IRT’s core business systems
    • Provide leadership by recommending sound system improvements and enhancements that consider our business, legislative and governance requirements
    • Work with a team of IT and Business professionals to implement adequate end to end solutions
    • Utilise good system development lifecycle activities including conducting appropriate research, analysis, design (including options), estimates and recommendations using the SDLC methodology
    • Build exception reporting capability from the core system where appropriate that provides insights to our operations teams to allow them to manage quality and compliance outcomes
    • Work closely with Business Analysts and SMEs to identify optimal streamlined solutions for our operations teams, adopting a value stream approach removing and reducing non optimal processes
    • Develop a wide range of reports to be generated by the system as requested by the user areas
    • Assist in quality reporting or accreditation response and reporting activity, including actioning recommendations for improvement/enhancement of the business system
    • Ensure support for critical scheduled system activities including but not limited to timekeeping, end of month, audit, benchmarking, exception reporting etc
    • Maintaining configuration, systems documentation, issues resolution and supports upgrades, patches to the business system using good release management protocol and vendor management
    • Develop, update and review IT department standards and procedures in collaboration with the Manager as required
    To Be Successful You Will Have
    • Desirable: Tertiary qualifications (degree) in a relevant business discipline is desirable, or demonstrated experience in a similar role
    • Desirable: Certification in ITIL
    • Extensive experience supporting core Business Systems and facilitating requirements gathering and designing solutions to business systems
    • Proven skills in writing and designing reports and maintaining system configuration
    • Ability to train staff in the use of business systems
    • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to apply these skills in people management and project management
    • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team and to be self-motivated
    • Excellent issue resolution (problem diagnosis), analytical and troubleshooting skills
    • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
    • Proven attention to detail and accuracy, ability to prioritise, and work to deadlines
    • Flexibility to travel if required across IRT sites with notice
