The Lennard Clinic has been servicing these counties for more than 35 years and is looking for qualified candidates interested in the behavioral health field to provide individual and group counseling services in an outpatient Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The Corporate Compliance Director of Nursing (DON) shall be responsible for the direction, provision and quality of nursing services provided to patients, and in so doing shall be responsible for the following:
- Ensure that all nursing staff operates in accordance with CARF, Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS) licensure, and DEA standards.
- Provide administrative oversight of the facility’s nursing services, and where appropriate, directly supervising the nursing staff.
- Create, communicate, and distribute nursing schedules monthly.
- Ensure Dr’s medical orders are up to date in accordance to state, federal and accreditation requirements.
- Develop and maintain written objectives, policies and procedures related to the Nursing department, quality assurance program for nursing services on a regular basis and in accordance with state, federal and accreditation requirements.
- Provide leadership and collaboration of facility, planning and budgeting for nursing services.
- Coordinate and integrate nursing services with the other patient care services within the organization to assure continuity of care for each patient.
- Lead, coordinate and facilitate monthly Nursing department meetings in a comprehensive and quality manner.
- Attend all leadership meetings (i.e. Senior Staff Meetings, Compliance Meetings, Medical Meetings, etc.)
- Ensure that the organization complies with required nursing department standards.
- Assist in the development of written job descriptions for the nursing associates and assignment of duties.
- Participate in staff orientation and staff medical education activities.
- Be an active contributor to team conferences with the multi-disciplinary team, and the client care committee(s).
- Interview applicants and provide close supervision for newly hired nurses at both sites.
- Ensure that new employee and tri-annual employee physicals are completed in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Evaluate training needs for nursing staff.
- Coordinate specific tasks with regard to time and work schedule.
- Monitor and control dispensing and storage of all medications and medical supplies, including tracking of all medication dosing; onsite, off-site and guest dosing.
- Control and monitor release of client medical information in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Attend all organizational meetings as required.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred but not required.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of New Jersey.
- Have at least one year of experience in nursing supervision or nursing administration in the management of addictions in a licensed substance use disorder treatment facility.
- Have technical skills with cloud based software (Google Suite (Email, Docs, Drive, Sheets, etc), Microsoft Office, One Drive, SMART (preferred))
- Can operate general office machines (copiers, printers, fax machine, etc.)

Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
