Quality assurance (QA) analysts brainstorm and test scenarios in which software could fail, implement testing, recommend steps to minimise risk, and provide feedback to software developers. Demand for the role is steady as any business working with software usually requires a QA analyst. To gain entry to the role, most candidates have a bachelor's degree in data management, data analytics, or a similar field. Candidates might be able to make themselves more competitive in the field by taking a master's degree in a relevant subject relating to data.
