    Sales and Operations Planning Manager (S&OP)

    Hayward, CA

    The Role

    Hatcheri Foods is looking for an experienced Sales and Operations Manager to join our team. This individual would be part of our brand team for Sukhi’s Indian Food. This role will facilitate the S&OP process to optimize sales, inventory and operations planning processes within the organization. This individual will oversee and monitor the Sales, Inventory and Operations planning program. The S&OP Manager will be responsible for the development and ongoing maintenance of a comprehensive consensus forecast, which will serve as a critical tool in our decision-making processes. This role will work onsite in Hayward, California.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage the design and development and implementation of a cohesive S&OP process
    • Leads S&OP processes, which includes coordinating regular meetings with the cross-functional S&OP team.
    • Develop systems, tools and processes to better identify risks and opportunities to our Annual Operating Plan (AOP)
    • Develop and deliver a consensus forecast with input from the key functional areas; Marketing, Sales, Finance and Operations. Focus on accuracy in an iterative environment requiring continuous communications with S&OP team and key stakeholders
    • Collaborates with Ops key stakeholders to develop inventory strategies on existing, new and discontinued items across the supply chain to support customer service levels and attainment of business and financial goals
    • Responsible for “rough cut” capacity planning, including the development of a 14-day production, down to the line level, with daily communication mechanism for plant team feedback
    • Continuously monitors and updates data and reporting for the business to view as “facts” for critical decision making

    Qualifications

    Education/Experience

    • BS Degree in Business, Finance or Supply Chain Mgmt. or combination education/experience
    • 5 + years of supply chain experience, with at least 3 years in a management role
    • 3 years of production planning experience. Demand planning experience a plus

    Knowledge Skills and abilities

    • Exceptional financial modeling skills in both Excel, preferably highly skilled in Access
    • Exceptional analytical and modeling skills
    • Mathematical Skills: General Arithmetic / Basic algebra / Statistics / Fractions
    • High attention to detail and accuracy
    • Deadline oriented with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to read, understand and effectively communicate financial information
    • Excellent written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills
    • Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive; a team leader who can positively and productively impact both strategic and tactical initiatives
