    I have been working at Airbnb full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    - office culture
    - open communication with manager and staffs
    - your opinions, feedback and suggestions are highly encouraged
    - company activities, free food
    - my closest friends are my colleagues
    - challenging but interesting roles in the company
    - company trusts you to make decisions and be accountable for results

    Cons

    - long work hours
    - if you are seeking a redundant and predictable workday life, then this job is not for you
    - because of the hypergrowth, changes can happen and one must be flexible and ready to take on new challenges

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    - motivate, inspire and reward employees who are loyal to the company
    - have properly set KPIs that makes one accountable for any failure, setbacks in a project
    - stop hiring new managers that only changes the company's existing culture wanting to implement their wants and ideals of a company
    - offer flexible mobility in roles across diff countries.diff offices for employees

    I applied online. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at Airbnb in September 2013.

    Interview Details

    14-15 rounds of interviews seem to be the norm. you get through 4-5 interviews with the senior management and then they do a status check before you meet the functional team heads and HR. Final 2 candidates are sent to the HQ to meet one of the founders.
