I have been working at Bruegger's full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

great food, early morning hours, no deep fryers. excellent opportunity to meet and get to know many regular guests.
I have never experienced anything like it in 18 years of food service experience.

    Cons

It's difficult to keep bakeries staffed, consistent fluctuation on policies and procedures, a lot of back and forth, and then you're not really sure who is driving the boat. It's like they are lacking any true commitment to anything other tan having lots of bagels and a concept of guest service.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hurry up and figure out the direction of the company and then you can start building something of value.
