There are not many pros in working for these people, to be sure. You get to learn how to paint, and get good exercise. That's about it.

Horrible pay. No training, (although their clever ads pretend and suggest otherwise). Horrible and useless management, quick night-time text messages (blurted and impolite, impersonal) to send you to your next assignment. The work is strenuous and long. Breaks and lunch are not suggested, YOU have to ask for them, whilst management and supervisors often stuff their faces and take off while you remain to do the work. Run by college kids, (no offence to the young) but that's what one might expect for a company run by children. Oh, and getting texts and such returned to you... good luck, very slow.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Wow, you Need a LOT of help in regards to improvement. Where to start. I can scarcely believe you are still around and getting contracts if this is your norm--and reading other reviews, it does seem to be. Your take-home/royalty/etc. is big and you pay peanuts and even falsely advertise yourselves. Pathetic. Impersonal and useless, this has been by Far one of the Worst jobs I have ever had. Time to sharpen up, pay more, train as suggested, and have a few older and/or more mature and capable persons running your management/staffing. College Pro is only pro at being a joke and a waste of one's valuable time.

    Application Details

I applied through an employee referral - interviewed at College Pro Painters in April 2010.

    Interview Details

The interview seemed overly formal and intense. There was a 3 panel team conducting the interview. I never got the job despite being a good fit for the company. Since then, I have even become self-employed doing the exact job very successfully for many years! Hopefully they have improved the process since then.
