I worked at Department of Health UK

    Pros

Quite a relaxed environment to work in,. People are easy to get on with and they allow time off when you require it.

    Cons

People get comfortable working within the Department and can lose their motivation and drive to push themselves. It can become a very cushie job.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The requirement for various levels of mamagement that need to sign off on things before they can go out can get a little annoying, however I fully understand the reason why this is needed.

    Application Details

I applied online. The process took a dayinterviewed at Department of Health UK in May 2011.

    Interview Details

The interview was hold in Bureau of Health Promotion conference rooms. First of all, there is a small scale of knowledge exam. All of the questions are free response questions. The most numinous one is related to health communication. Second, here comes the interview part, it was hold in a briefing room, and three senior managers are seated in a row. they will ask you a couple of questions about the popular issues about health news.
