I worked at Douglas Publications full-time for more than a year

    Pros

I very much enjoyed the benefit of working from my home for Douglas Publications. I had to visit Richmond, Virginia, only occasionally.

    Cons

After earning stellar reviews from my direct supervisor, I was fired for missing one deadline, though I had worked closely with production to ensure the missed deadline would not affect our print date. There was no warning, no loyalty to me as an employee, simply a request for a phone meeting and firing.
